Introducing the GHS (Globally Harmonized System) within Europe by way of the CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures) ensures that hazardous substances are classified and labelled in a standardised way across the whole of Europe. The stricter classification criteria and increased transparency of this regulation bring about greater safety for those dealing with hazardous substances. Because safety is our number one priority, we already fulfil many requirements that will not become obligatory until 2015. Unusual for the industry perhaps, but for us a matter of course.
